I think I have "graduated" to teach only online classes :-)Might be my exuberance and drive for technology. I was offered it and took the challenge: three sections of EPFR 515 - Cognition, taught completely online. I meet my students first day of class only.
I am glad to teach online especially when I gave up (with a broken heart!!!) to ask my graduate students to post their final project proposal to a blog. Too many complaints from some students in Fall 2007 and a kind suggestion to ease my course...
It is a good start for now.
I took some books from the library to learn more about the details about teaching online. Last semester when I taught one section online I discovered that just having an in-class course online is not really the good way. There are certain class management issues that online classes require. I will have fun teaching and in the same time experiencing online teaching.
